At Fjord PtX, we believe that strategy and collaboration go hand in hand – and that the best ideas often emerge when people come together. Last week, our Aalborg office hosted a dedicated Project Team Day, bringing together colleagues from across the Fjord PtX organization for a full day of alignment, knowledge-sharing, and forward planning.
The theme of the day was clear: strategizing our way forward, with a strong focus on integration across disciplines and a shared understanding of the project’s key value drivers. As Fjord PtX prepares to enter the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase, it is more important than ever that our teams are aligned on both opportunities and risks.
Throughout the day, project leaders facilitated valuable discussions.
- Senior Commercial Manager Sune Petersen provided an update on regulatory developments and the status of offtake agreements – a critical component in enabling final investment decisions.
- Procurement Manager Mads Jansen Helbo walked the team through the ITT tender timeline and the broader procurement strategy, highlighting the complexity and interdependencies of the process.
These sessions helped foster a shared understanding across the Project Management Team, ensuring that everyone is equipped to contribute effectively as we move into the next phase of development.
The day concluded with a team dinner at a local restaurant – a chance to unwind, connect informally, and enjoy a bit of Danish hygge. Moments like these are essential in building the trust and cohesion that large-scale projects like Fjord PtX depend on.
A heartfelt thank you to all participants for your insights, engagement, and shared commitment to advancing sustainable aviation. Together, we are shaping one of Europe’s most ambitious eSAF projects – and doing so with purpose, professionalism, and a strong sense of team.
